Personal Protective Equipment donations are needed for our frontline healthcare workers.
Protective gowns and gloves
Medical-grade disinfectant wipes
During the COVID-19 crisis in British Columbia, there is an urgent need to maintain adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) for front-line health care workers at our hospitals. Over 40 students from various regions of BC (Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Prince George and Chilliwack) are working together in this initiative. We have been collecting PPE donations from community donors (dentists, salons, small businesses, labs, industry, individuals) and distributing these donations across 9 hospital drop off sites that we’ve helped establish across the province. We are also partnering with SafeCareBC Operation Protect.
If you have additional questions or are interested in participating in this initiative, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 780-246-7890.
We have collected and distributed over 80,000 items of PPE including N95 masks, gloves, gowns and more across BC.
